A Boston-based separately managed hedge fund formed by Harvard Business School grad Marco Bitran in 2011, AI Exchange, Inc. initially launched in February 2011 as Clearbridge, Inc., adapting its current moniker following a successful venture round that netted the company $1.5 million in financing from Common Angels and General Catalyst. Marco Bitran’s firm is also backed by Jean Hammond, Co-Founder of the Boston arm of Golden Seeds, and by Hub Angels, among others. Showing great promise in its first year, AI Exchange operates via two subsidiary entities, AI Exchange Technologies and AI Advisors.
